VOTING FREE ,THE BEST GIFT FROM A CITIZEN TO HIS NATION

VOTING FREE ,THE BEST GIFT FROM A CITIZEN TO HIS NATION
Africans should be aware that it takes a real courage to say no to the bribes but it's a huge achievement when we do so for the simple fact that the long term process pays more.
For these upcoming elections the civil society such as the M23 should emphasize more on the voter’s registrations and their education so that they understand their constitutional rights to vote freely and free.
When money dictates the ballots result in Africa, ignoring our civil right becomes common, citizen of Africa our continent needs us more than ever before we let the chaos that is prevailing in the Arab world comes to us.
Our economy is far to move an inch and is almost left to where the colonialist dropped it, none of the loans or grants we receive are invested in productive sectors if they are invested at all.
Access to primary healthcare is almost impossible; hospitals are collapsing because of lack of staff, equipments and drugs.
Our choice should then be motivated by faith, fair choice, integrity and principles before we cast our votes, let us stop the pre-electoral briberies and pressure whenever it may come from to make sure that our future generations get a better living standard than us.
The mass media has to play a vital role in giving balanced and fair information to the public about the candidates and their ability to be trusted in office rather than intoxicating them with bias information.
Last but not least the judicial power is trusted in their judgments and arbitrations in such extent that Africa can at least be present at the high table of honor where nations are competing but not begging.
Long Live Africa our proud mother.
